1. Controller and contact
Portugal Wardogs is an independent player community. The community administration manages this website and the data processing described here. For privacy questions or requests regarding your data, contact the team through Portugal Wardogs Discord, by private message to the administration. Do not post personal documents in public channels.
2. Data and sources
The website queries the community game server to display its name, map, mode, player count and faction scores. For players, it receives the in-game name, Steam identifier, faction, kills, deaths, virtual cash and ping. It also records first and last observations. The Steam identifier is converted into a pseudonymous identifier before being stored in the dashboard; this does not make the data anonymous. The dashboard does not collect chat content or voice communications.
3. Purposes and legal basis
The data is used to display server status, online players and the community's statistics history. The intended legal basis is legitimate interest in managing the server and displaying these statistics, balanced against players' rights. You may object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. Visiting the website does not constitute consent for other purposes. Requests and legal requirements may require processing to comply with a legal obligation.
4. Public information
In-game names, factions, statistics, observation dates and pseudonymous identifiers may be accessed by visitors through the dashboard and its API. Avoid using sensitive information in your player name. Server administration credentials are not published. We do not sell dashboard data or use it for targeted advertising.
5. Retention
Player-count samples are deleted after seven days; the chart shows the last 24 hours. Current status is replaced by new queries. Individual leaderboard history currently has no automatic deletion: it remains until deleted by the administration or as part of an applicable request. This configuration will be reviewed before the website opens publicly to establish a retention period appropriate to its purpose. We do not present the history as an official or complete game record.
6. Cookies and technical operation
This version does not use advertising cookies or audience analytics. Administrative accounts use essential session and security cookies. The language setting uses a session cookie. Images, fonts and video are served by this website. The Copy ID button writes to the clipboard only when activated; it does not read its contents. Delivering pages involves technical processing of IP addresses and request data. Hosting and network services may process technical logs for operation and security.
7. Hosting and external services
The website and database are hosted on a Hetzner server. The game server is hosted by Qonzer. Discord is an external service with its own terms and privacy policy; visiting it may involve processing outside the European Economic Area. The dashboard does not embed Discord trackers. Processing by the game, Steam, Team17 or BULKHEAD is separate from this website: also consult the official WARDOGS privacy policy.
8. Your rights
Where provided for by the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing. If future processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. We may request proportionate information to confirm ownership of the data. We normally respond within one month, subject to legally permitted extensions. You may complain to the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD). The dashboard does not make decisions with legal effects based solely on automated processing; leaderboard ranking does not automatically determine sanctions.
9. Changes
This policy describes the current version of the website. Material changes to hosting, collected data, purposes or retention will be reflected on this page. Information on rights: European Commission.
